FM 101's transmission is available on Asiasat 3.
FM 101's transmission is also available on the web.[3]
FM101 was launched as the counterpart of FM100 as the Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation (PBC) authorities wanted to cash in on the radio boom themselves too, fearing monopoly of a private channel in this regard.
During the earlier times, FM101 maintained a low profile and didn't attracted much listener ship, at least not in the beginning as the methods used were crude and outdated, much like that of Radio Pakistan itself.[4]
With the launch of FM 101 International, the channel gained an upper edge and today seems to be winning the race as FM100 suffers from a serious financial crisis.
